Jean jackets have become one of the biggest trends from season to season. Today I am going to be explaining how I took my dark-wash denim jacket and made into a light wash jacket! Jean jackets are super trendy and can be paired with ANYTHING and looks great!

Materials:
-Jean Jacket
-Bleach
-Water
-Bucket
-Gloves

Directions:
1. Mix in part water and bleach
2. Place jacket in bucket
3. Soak for a couple hours or up to three days depending on desired look using gloves
4. Remove from bleach and wash/dry
5. Ready to wear!

And this is how it turned out:

Thank-you for reading my post today! I was completely in love with how my jacket turned out and it looks great paired with most items. Now a days it is very expensive to find a jacket that looks a lot like this. This DIY gives you a similar look without the price. I hope you try it out!

OOTD: Last Day at the Beach

Since summer is almost over and it is time to go back to school it is much needed to attend one last trip to the beach. This summer has been a ton of fun so yesterday was the best way to finish off the summer. It was more of a breezier day so I opted for more transitional fall pieces. I must say that this look as a whole has a much more boxier look compared to fitted, but if you are having a relaxed and chilled day you don't want to have to worry about your clothing. This outfit is super cute and features pops of colour throughout which makes it a fun look.
This sweater is from Element Eden.
My shorts are from Design Lab.
I wore some casual white Converse.
To protect my face from the sun as well as add an easy accessory, I wore this baseball hat from Urban Outfitters.
This summer has been a ton of fun and this last beach trip was amazing. I hope you all liked this easy go-to outfit for transitioning into fall. Soon I will putting up some posts on specific fall trends and looks I love but for now this is all! Thanks for reading.

Maracas Bay, Travel Post 01

Being that it is the last day of August, I thought today I would start a new link to my blog that would feature travel posts. This summer has been a ton of fun and school is unfortunately quickly approaching. Travelling is something my family and I thoroughly enjoy and taking photos of new scenery is something I love. I'll being displaying some pictures I took while driving up to Maracas Bay in Trinidad and Tobago. This beach is one of the most famous beaches in Trinidad and is located on the north side of the island.
On the way up to the beach there were scenic views up the mountain that were breathtaking and it would be impossible not to take a photo. (or a few)

When we got up to the look out I decided to take some photos of my sister's outfit which was casual and cute: perfect for the beach!
Her dress was a simple black and white striped t-shirt dress and her bandana was a simple navy one from Urban Outfitters.
Overall my trip to Trinidad and Tobago was an amazing trip and I'm glad I am able to share a bit of it with you. Thanks for reading!

Spring Look + DIY Frayed Jeans

Spring is quickly approaching and the weather is thankfully getting warmer! This weekend I was able to pull out some of the pieces I have been dying to wear and got to pair it with a quick DIY I also created this weekend. Frayed pants have been a trend that I been recently seeing in stores quite often but every time I check a price tag it is over $50. I fount his to be a bit excessive and decided to create my own!

To begin with I found these pants at Winners for $5.00 which was an incredible steal! If you want to find cheap jeans to DIY I would also definitely recommend checking out thrift shopping.
As you can probably tell the pants we a bit long so I had to trim them before fraying the ends.
First I tried them on a measured where I wanted to cut by folding them over.
Next I drew a line with chalk and pinned it down with clothespin and began to cut. Remember since you are fraying the end it does not have to be perfect!
After they were cut I took a clothespin and started pulling out threads to create the fringe look!
In terms of how I styled it I kept it very light as the weather is finally getting warmer! My grey wool coat is from Brandy Melville.
Underneath I wore a white t-shirt.
On top of the white t-short I wore a floral and lace top.
And finally my metallic shoes add a cool pop to the outfit!

90's Inspired Outfit

Hello everyone! Today's post is one of my favourite outfits I've ever made. It is completely inspired by the 90's. This was inspired by the colours, styles and different pieces from the 90's. A lot of select items from the 90's are coming back in terms of fashion and everyone is wearing them! They bring a different flair to outfits and make them seem different to other we've seen recently. This outfit is very affordable and is easy accessible for anyone who is maybe afraid to invest in clothing pieces they aren't sure they aren't 100% they are going to love. Although in the end this outfit is one I am portably going to be reaching for, for the rest of the summer!
The colourful ribbed t-shirt I am wearing is from h&m. My watch is from Urban Outfitters.
My white Stan Smith's adidas's shoes are from Urban Outfitters.
My two-toned jeans are also from h&m. Lastly my black pleather belt is from h&m.
I loved the amount of colours in this outfit. The pants are particularly my favourite because they are so unique to anything I've seen. The belt also ties in the shirt to the denim to make it a uniformed look. Thank you all for reading this week!
